AgAnalysis
provides business plans, marketing plans, workout and financial analysis
for farm managers to assist them in maximizing profits, through better
understanding their farm business.
AgAnalysis
also contracts with agri-business clients to complete macro economic and
financial analysis of Canadian or International Agriculture issues. The
company can contract to conduct agricultural surveys and develop farm models
to test policy or program design. Environmental and economic assessments
are conducted in partnership with other firms.
Gary Fisher, the
President, offers extensive experience in the agriculture and agri-food.
He headed the Farm Level Analysis Section within the Policy Branch of Agriculture
Canada for six years (1992 to 1998). The section developed farm models
of many farm enterprises and used them to simulate price, production, and
policy options.
Serving with the
Farm Credit Corporation (FCC) for 23 years, Mr. Fisher held numerous positions
including Credit Advisor, Loans Officer, Chief of Research, and Assistant
V-P for Research and Development. Some of his responsibilities and achievements
at FCC were, the development and completion of the first three Canadian
Farm Financial Surveys, developing FCC market research, developing new
credit instruments for Canadian farmers.
Gary has a detailed
financial knowledge of most agricultural enterprises. Having worked with
the hog, dairy, grain, and beef sectors in three provinces as well as at
the national level.
Gary Fisher's
academic qualifications include a B.Sc. in Agricultural Economics and Farm
Management, and a Masters Degree in Agricultural Finance, both from the
University of Manitoba.
